得不償失 ***
沉迷於色彩繽紛 會弄得眼花撩亂 沉迷於聲樂享受 會弄得聽覺失靈 沉迷於味道享受 會弄得食不知味 凡事不過份追求 否則會得不償失 |
Gain and loss ***
If you are addicted to a colorful life, you may become dazzled and become confused. If you are addicted to loud vocal music, you will damage your ears, and lose your sense of hearing. If you are addicted to strong flavors of food, you may lose the sensation of the true taste of food. What you gain from excessive addiction may not make up for what you may lose.

慾望一旦被挑起
天天會慾念更多 像個滾雪球一般 愈滾愈大愈加快 到時是沒法阻止 結果會招致危害 貪慾不只害自己 甚至會連累家人 |
Excessive desire ***
Once you start to have a desire, such a desire can grow. It is like a rolling snow ball. It gets bigger and bigger, and rolls faster and faster up to a point where no one can stop it. Ultimately it will create harm. Excessive desire can harm not only yourself but may even hurt your family members.
