With such an invincible spirit, you will be guaranteed success and will not fail.

When you compete with others, in addition to knowing your own self, and who your enemy is, you also need to understand your surrounding environment. Only if you know yourself, your opponent and the state of your environment, will you be able to compete fearlessly and easily win the competition.

Limited tolerance for forgiving others

When people have no tolerance for others, they will feel that they have no space, and life to them is full of stress. By contrast, when people are willing to give in a little, can endure unpleasant events, and know how to respect others, they will have little conflict with people, and will feel that there is breathing room for their lives.

Have mercy on people ***

People should be compassionate. They should try their best to keep peace at home. They should do the same outside their homes. They should be faithful to their friends and be respectful to the elderly. They should view life’s events with an open-mind. If they manage to pick up any event easily and put it down easily, they will be able to live a comfortable and relaxing life.

Merry Christmas ***

It is natural to think of our family members during Christmas season. Family is the most valuable thing on earth. Source of happiness

Daily Advice

goodadvicechan@yahoo.com
www.good-advice-book.blogspot.com

Source of happiness ***

Whether life is really happy or not, depends on your mind set. If you are full of greed, you can’t be happy before you can satisfy your greed. But if you can remove your unnecessary desires and keep an open mind and a kind heart, you will find happiness.

Share your happiness ***

Happiness does not come from fame. Nor does it come from wealth. It is not the same as material enjoyment. Nor is it the same as an entertainment. Happiness comes from within your kind heart. It is your own personal wealth. You have a choice. You can choose to be happy or unhappy. Better still you can choose to share your happiness with others.

Screamingly painful

Due to personal X’Mas travel, daily advice for December 17 to January 2 will be published  in advance.

Screamingly painful ***

Life may be screamingly painful but there is no need to complain bitterly about it. As long as you have a personal goal and put in your efforts to work towards achieving your goal, you will be able to get help if needed. Your friends will assist you enthusiastically, and your family members will support you at all cost. With these supports, sooner or later, you will be able to attain your goal.

Be innocent and have self-respect ***

When you were born, you did not come into this world with your wealth. When you leave this world, you cannot take your wealth with you. Wealth is not part of your body. When you are gone, you will become part of earth regardless whether you are wealthy or not. When wealth is compared with life itself, naturally life is more precious. You are better off if you maintain an innocent life and have self-respect at all times.

Always be careful

Due to personal X’Mas travel, daily advice for December 17 to January 2 will be published  in advance.

Always be careful ***

If you are always alert, you can sail your ship safely forever. It is a safe thing to do if you are careful about how you handle both people and things. Keep your eyes wide open when building new relationships. Watch carefully how people speak and how they behave. There is no harm to be friends with good people, but you should stay away from bad people. If you do this, you will have fewer troubles.

Flattery ***

Everyone wants to hear words of flattery. These words do sound pleasing to your ears. They make you feel you are superior to others. They may even make you forget the real you. Have you ever thought of why people say those flattery words? If you are being fooled by these words and believe they are true, you may get hurt.

Living in a ever-changing world

Due to personal X’Mas travel, daily advice for December 17 to January 2 will be published  in advance.

Living in a ever-changing world ***

Living in this ever-changing world, one must expand one’s horizon and look at things with a long term view. One needs to keep one’s eyes open, and view things differently as if it was a learning lesson. Avoid narrow thinking. Keep an open-mind in your thinking and accept new ideas. Put in extra effort to learn new things and build a new career for yourself.

Blind-folded ***

Some people do things as if they are blind-folded. They never look at past experience and use it to plan for the future. They make no effort to try and understand what is right and what is wrong. They just barge ahead and carry out their tasks without any planning and thinking. Inevitably, their success rate is almost nil. In the end, they not only damage their career, they may hurt others as well. If you want to move up the ladder, you need to be careful in planning before you carry out your tasks.

You only have yourselves to blame

You only have yourselves to blame ***

People’s personal success or failure depends on how much effort one puts in one's work. If one is willing to learn diligently, build up a wealth of knowledge and develop a good personality, one doesn’t have to worry about one’s opportunities of being a successful person. But, if you are not willing to upgrade your skills and knowledge from time to time, you only have yourselves to blame for your failures.

You don’t have to be in line with people ***

You don’t need to be in line with everyone. Everyone has their own strengths. Our family backgrounds and educational backgrounds are different. Such differences create our own unique personality and behavior. As long as you can demonstrate your own potential, you will have your own unique charm. Definitely you don’t need to be in line with others.

Grasp any opportunities

Due to personal X’Mas travel, daily advice for December 17 to January 2 will be published  in advance.

Grasp any opportunities ***

Opportunities are hard to find. Watch out for them and don’t let them slip through your fingers. Make sure you grasp them and take advantage of them to demonstrate your potential to help you develop your career. Do it for yourself, and for others, and make sure you put in your best efforts. Only if you do that, you can claim you have carried out your responsibility.

Service attitude ***

No matter what kind of job you do, you must keep a good service attitude. First develop a love for the work you do. If you love your job, you will be happy. With a positive attitude, you will do a good job. You will be able to produce a high working efficiency and able to communicate well with others. People will like to cooperate with you.

Misunderstanding and hatred ***

When faced with situations involving misunderstanding and hatred, one must give in a little if one has faith in reconciliation. Be sincere and keep a clear mind. Be willing to give in a little and let go off the past. If both parties are willing to step back, such situations can be reconciled.

Why fight for something everyday? ***

Why fight for something everyday? If you see something that you don’t like, just tell yourself “let nature takes its course.” There is no need to calculate everything even though it is related to wealth and power. There is no need to put too many thoughts into wealth and power. After all, when you leave this world, you cannot bring them with you.

The higher you climb, the colder it becomes ***

When you climb higher up in the corporate ladder, the lonelier you become. This is like climbing up the hill, the higher you climb, the colder it becomes. Try your best to develop friendships both inside and outside your work-place. If you can find a good friend, you can share both your joy and your frustration. You will then be able to relax and be happy

Everyone must have friends ***

Make friends while you are still young. Everyone must have life-long good friends. You don’t need many but you must have some. A few good ones will be more than enough. Even when you grow old, and have difficulty in walking, you will not feel lonely if you pick up the phone, and share your feelings with your friends.

Faith and conscience

Faith and conscience ***

Don’t trust anything to the letter from a reputed high authority. You should analyze carefully what you hear and what you see. Don’t be afraid of authoritative power. Don’t blindly follow instructions. Don’t get involved with higher authority in a way that leads you to participate in illegal acts. You must have your own principles, and have confidence in yourself. Whatever you do, you must do it with a good conscience.

DIY (Do it yourself)

Daily Advice

Author: Philip Chan
goodadvicechan@yahoo.com
www.good-advice-book.blogspot.com

Why people of bad character appear to be successful ***

You may wonder why a person of bad character can be successful. Such a person is very sweet and slimy in his/her use of words. In reality, he/she doesn’t mean what he/she says. It is all by luck that he/she can succeed. Not only that, he/she is arrogant and disparages others. Malicious words and deeds do not gain any respect at all. Ultimately such a person will pay for this bad behavior.

DIY (Do it yourself) ***

If you only talk about it, but never do it yourself, eventually you will lose confidence in yourself. It is because you don’t have the practical experience, and how can you claim to be a professional? Only if you do it yourself, and engage in self-introspection, to look for improvement, can you claim to be a good example for others to follow.

Life’s journey

Life’s journey ***

In one's journey through life, one should always pay attention to safety and should not rush blindly to do things. Sometimes it is worth stopping for a while and take stock of the surrounding environment. Listen carefully to the sounds surrounding you, and try to feel whether there is any danger before moving ahead.

Transient impermanence ***

Life is a short impermanence. Once time is gone, it will never come back. No one knows how long one lives. In the twinkling of an eye, everything may disappear. Maybe everything is destined in life. If this is the case, value what you have, and don’t ask for the impossible. Let nature takes its course.

Saneness and confidence

Saneness and confidence ***

People must maintain their saneness and confidence. They should not have evil thoughts but possess compassion. With inner confidence, they will have hidden strength to move forward. As long as they use their knowledge properly, and have confidence in themselves, they will have serenity and should be successful in whatever they do.

Be careful ***

People have to be careful about what they say; otherwise once said, they will not be able to withdraw what has been said. The best speech is to say good things. It is even better if they give people room to manoeuvre. Don’t say anything that forces other people into a corner. Never create new rumors. Rumors may cause harm to the originator and other people.

Self-reliance

Self-reliance ***

Do not try to have unrealistic dreams. Too much fantasy is not practical. People need to be practical and plan for their future. Without a good plan, they may have to suffer poverty. Only with practical experience, one can make a living to meet their daily needs of food and clothing.

Life’s significance ***

Although some people live a long life, they have never tried hard to fulfill their dream or they may not even have had a dream. They let everyday pass by without doing anything meaningful. Without working hard to fulfill a dream in one’s life, one cannot claim that they have had a meaningful life.

Do everything in moderation ***

Some people can live happily through difficult times while others always look for happiness. Some people enjoy the present so much and forget where they came from, while others overly enjoy the present and end up changing a happy event into one that is sad. Happiness is, in fact, a joyful event. Unfortunately people can turn a happy event into an unfortunate event. Therefore remember always do everything in moderation.

Extremes cause reverse effect ***

There is a common saying that if you go to the extremes; you may end up with the reverse effect. You should know when to stop. It is like eating a meal. You should not stuff yourself with too much food. Nor should you eat much less than what your body needs. You should only eat the right amount. Working habits are in the same category. Over-work may not necessarily be good. It may cause some hidden danger work-wise or health-wise.
