The power of words***

Saying a few useful words, at times, is better than a long speech. Those few words can change people's viewpoints about their lives. Such words can touch people's heart and make them see things more clearly. The power of such words can motivate people to have courage to survive and give them energy to lead them move towards the road of success.

What should you say***

Frivolous words, sometimes, can destroy the friendship between two people, or even destroy your future. By contrast, if you say a few caring words, people will appreciate it and welcome you. Always say things that are affirmative, and words of appreciation. The best words are words of encouragement.

Having a dream is the most important thing***

If you don’t have wealth, you can work hard to earn more. If you don’t have the working experience, you can learn from your daily tasks. If you don’t have the required educational background, you can attend continuing education courses. But the most fearful thing is not having a dream because then you don’t have the fighting spirit to move on.

Be sure to have a goal***

If you do not have a dream and don’t know how to move on, even if you are a wise and knowledgeable person, you are wasting your wisdom and knowledge. Don’t waste your energy anymore. Make sure you have a personal goal; otherwise you are heading along to a road of oblivion.

Looking for fortune***

If you spend your energy thinking about nothing but focus on how to make a fortune, you won’t find it. But if you focus on taking care of your family, praying for them, being considerate to people and working hard, fortune will come your way.

Make today a better day***

No one knows whether tomorrow is a better day or not. Such is the case, why worry? There is no reason why you can’t enjoy today? Be open-minded and tell yourself that you can make today a wonderful day. As long as today is a good day, tomorrow will be a better day. Make sure you make today a good day.

Four generations in the same room***

If you work long hours everyday, it isn’t a life that anyone would like to have. You must take some time off and spend a vacation with your family. You should take them to see beauties of the world’s nature. Enjoy a sports game with your children. Only if you enjoy the company of your family members and take good care of your health, can you live to see the days of four generations in one room.

No way to recover***

Always remember that your health is the most important thing. Career development can only be second to your health. Career development is like a basket ball. It bounds up and down. If you practice it frequently you will manage to throw the ball to score a mark. But, health is like a glass ball. Once it falls on the ground and broken, you will never be able to find a way to repair the damage.

Disciplining yourself***

When facing adversity, you must accept that you may endure some humiliation. Treat the experience as a learning lesson. Learn as much as you can; especially learn how to let go of your hatred and your feeling of being unfairly treated. Change your attitude from negative to positive and accept reality.

Self-control is a good personal characteristic***

Self-control is a good personal characteristic. Whether a moment is happy or sad, always be patient and control yourself, whatever the outcome turns out to be. Even if it is a big success, don’t be overjoyed and misbehave. Be careful about your speech and action otherwise your misbehavior may cause trouble.

Look at everything clearly and thoroughly***

Sometimes laughing foolishly is good. Looking at life with a smile is even better. If you keep an open-mind and look at life and death clearly and thoroughly, you will not feel any pain in life. You won’t find pain in hatred, sadness and setbacks. Once you reach this level, you will feel calm and you will enjoy a simple life.

What’s meant to be gone will be gone***

Ultimately you will probably understand this. Things that are meant to be gone will be gone. People meant to leave you will leave you. There is no need to be overly saddened. As long as you are still alive, treasure the people around you. Value the time of today and do something meaningful for yourself.

Find someone to talk to***

How many people are willing to deliver charcoal to people in winter times? But there are many people who are willing to deliver flowers to celebrate other people’s success. Be careful with whom you want to share your sorrow with. Only you, yourself, can understand what, and how you’re going through during your current rough times. Choose a person whom you can trust before you share your sorrow with them.

Feeling for others***

Although you may have a kind heart and always feel for others, be careful of whom you are dealing with. It is always safer to be alert to the people around you. Don’t tell people everything from the bottom of your heart. Use judgment in determining what you say. Of course, there are always exceptions. You certainly can share your feeling with a trusted friend.

With your improved knowledge, you will find it easier to succeed in achieving your goal.

Encourage yourself***

Turn around opportunity***

There is a Chinese saying that when you see no mountains and no seas, you think you are heading along a dead end road. In fact, at the end of the road, you will see a new village. Things will have their ways of turning around after a period of every ten years. Therefore there is no need to feel sorrow for yourself.

Let go of your prejudice***

It is almost impossible to find two people coming from the same social and educational background, and going through the same personal development process. Therefore we can expect that their thinking and their opinions are different. If you are in agreement with this, you should let go of your prejudice when you deal with people.

If you want to get along well with people, you need to communicate with them. Always put on a smile. Whenever there is a conflict, resolve it as quickly as possible.

Stay calm like still water***

You must remember your attitude can affect your life. If you remain calm like still water, your mind will remain clear and you can finish your job with half the effort. Not only that, if you are willing to give a little and forgive a little when you deal with people, your life will be a relaxed one. Every day will be a relaxing day.

Being utterly confused***

If you are utterly confused, your mind can’t be focused. Even small stuff will anger you easily. With such a state of mind, you won’t be able to solve your problems during difficult times. You may even make things worse. Why don’t you change your attitude? If you have a positive attitude, you may end up with some surprisingly good results.

Silence is better***

When other people misunderstand you and you don’t want to explain, being silent is the best approach. If people understand you, you don’t need to explain. Silence is, in fact, the right answer. If people intend not to understand you, your explanation doesn’t mean anything to them.

Who appreciates your work***

Some people appear to endure patiently under anything. They seldom argue with anyone. They never communicate with anyone but silently work hard to get the job done. This type of behavior may not be the best way to perform your job. Why? It’s because no one knows what and how well you are doing. You can’t expect your boss to appreciate what you are doing unless you communicate.

Demonstrate your potential***

If you want people to buy your ideas, you must learn to communicate well with people first. You must maintain good relationships with the people above you and the people below you. Then, you can win people’s confidence and you will have a chance to demonstrate your potential.

A wise person***

A wise person will not live a dissolute life; rather he/she will live a healthy life. He/she will work diligently and demonstrate his/her potential capability. He/she will never find excuses to cover up his/her laziness. On the contrary, he/she will work hard and encourage himself/herself to move up in his/her career development.

What you need to remember***

Here are the “Don’ts” you should remember. Don’t indulge yourself in things that you shouldn’t see or hear. Don’t smoke and don’t drink to an extreme. Don’t be lazy. Don’t fight with people ruthlessly. Don’t violate the law and commit crimes. Don’t think you can ignore your parents and abdicate your responsibility to care for them when they become old or infirm.

Everyone has a vulnerable moment***

Everyone has a vulnerable moment and can easily be influenced by the wrong thoughts. In this circumstance, one may do stupid things. If you don’t want to succumb to the wrong ideas, what you can do is to repeat a phrase containing a useful idea. Such a phrase can be anything you construct for yourself. e.g. say “protect yourself”. The quicker you say it, the more effective it becomes. You can then overcome the wrong ideas and they won’t encumber you.

Beaming with joy***

Sometimes you may feel confused. Although you may not know what to do, remember there is always a sober moment. All you need to do is to look at a mirror with full attention and tell yourself the following sentence. “I must raise my eyebrows and smile.” Repeat this three times, your smiling face will appear and you will be sober enough to continue your work.

Always put on a smile***

Gold may not necessary be the most valuable thing. Being peaceful at heart is worth much more. The loving care in a family, the mutual affection and the desire to help each other, the willingness to provide encouragement to help solve each other’s problems, and the joy of sharing both happiness and sadness are more important than rich and pricy meals. As long as everyone is smiling, a simple meal is just fine.

Fun of chit chat***

Where do clouds come from? Some will say they come from the mountain. Where does the fog come from? Some will say that they come from the ground. How many stars are there in the sky? Such chit chat can be fun. Gathering together with friends can be a joyful event. The laughter among friends can reduce stress.

Childhood***

Have you ever thought of how you lived through your childhood? You didn’t care what happened to the world. All you cared was to have good meals and play. You had no grief and no worries. Today, it isn’t easy to make a living and you have to worry about daily necessities. Why don’t you try to be a child again and enjoy a day free of worry?

Enjoy whole-heartily

Nothing in this world can last forever. It’s a matter of time that good things can disappear. How many relatives, friends and lovers do you have? I guess there won’t be that many. Therefore, treasure them and enjoy them whole-heartily.
