未必是英雄

雖然未必是英雄
也未必是個偉人
但也要保存名氣
人之初是性本善
以慈悲懷做人
做事對得住良心
對人也要有本心
才不會遺臭萬年

You may not be a hero

You may not be a hero or you may not be an outstanding person. Yet you need to have good virtues. People are born with a compassionate heart. Be kind to people and don’t do anything injurious to hurt people. Maintain a good conscience in dealing with people and things. Then, you won’t leave behind a bad name for yourself.

千古恨

一失足成千古恨
做人要三省吾身
好好把自己做好
做到無欲又無求
本著知足常樂心
對人對事沒妒忌
不怨天又不怨地
安樂過清淡生活


Regrets

A single slip-up may cause sorrow that can last your life time. It is advisable to re-evaluate yourself periodically. Make sure your behavior is acceptable to both yourself and others. Try to live a life free of desire and free of demands for luxurious items. Be satisfied with what you have, you will be happier. Don’t compare yourself with others and envy them. Don’t blame anyone including Heaven and Earth, for things that you don’t have. Be happy and live a simple life.
