There are unanticipated winds and clouds. However when the heavy rain is over, you will see a clear sky. Life is the same. You will have ups and downs. As long as you have confidence in yourself, you can secretly tell yourself that you have a lamp of hopes buried inside you. Light up the lamp and you will see a bright future.

PREVIEW
Good advice Part 3
“Don’t Give Up”
Author: Philip Chan
To all patients,
You are in our prayers and
We wish you speedy recovery
美好的一天 *****
壽命長短有誰知
沒人能預料將來
今日不知明日事
何不把今日做好
過一天就活一天
而且要活得完滿
好好與親朋同樂
過個美好的一天
One happy day *****
No one knows how long you are going to live. No one can predict the future. You really don’t know what will happen tomorrow. Why don’t you make good use of today? Live one day at a time and make it a day full of satisfaction. Enjoy the company of your friends and relatives. Make sure you all have a happy day.
新生路 *****
其實人生的路程
多不是平坦順暢
甚至會顛簸崎嶇
而且是困難重重
如果還自怨自憐
忘不了些小傷痛
試問怎能站起來
走出一條新生路
New way out *****
The fact of the matter is that life is never a smooth journey. It has many bumps along the way, and it is common that you have no choice but to face adversity. If you always pity yourself and can’t even accommodate small grievances, how can you stand up and continue your journey? You need to find a new way out.

Birth, aging, being sick and death ***
Every life includes birth, aging, being sick and death. Regardless how bad your health condition is, you must struggle till the end. As long as you live, you must combat with your illness. You shouldn’t allow any defeat in your battle but only accept victory. Almighty God will not let you down and your days of good health will soon return.

After the bitterness comes the sweetness *****
Life may not necessary be perfect. It is common that 8 or 9 life events out of 10 are unpleasant. Being sick is one of them but you need to struggle to help yourself to fight against your disease. You need to turn your inner bitter feeling into a new strength to help you become positive, and ultimately turn all bitterness into sweetness.

“Don’t Give Up”
Author: Philip Chan
To all patients,
You are in our prayers and
We wish you speedy recovery
洗耳恭聽 ***
最難應付的時刻
就是病人的怨言
滿口怨恨的態度
句句是憤世嫉俗
此時最好的答話
就是無聲勝有聲
只要肯洗耳恭聽
病者會感覺舒暢
Listen with full attention ***
Dealing with a patient’s complaints is one of the most difficult tasks. When your patient is full of complaints and anger, and utters words of giving up his/her life even though there is hope of recovery, silence is your best response. What you can do is to listen to them with sympathy and they will feel better.
空間 ***
人總要有些空間
給自己小小時間
休息小小也是好
每天抽多少時間
找個安靜的地方
合上眼睛念句經
默默祈求天保佑
保佑病者早痊癒
Your own time ***
Everyone should have some time for themselves. Make good use of this time. Take a rest or take care of your personal affairs. In addition, everyday take some time to find a quiet place and pray to Almighty God wishing for speedy recovery for your patient.
