Tom’s wife, Mary passed away and he found a box of about 500 movie tickets in her drawer. He rearranged the tickets in date order.
Their first dating movie was called “The Best of Everything.” Tom still remembered how much he enjoyed the acting of Hope Lange as Caroline Bender and Stephen Boyd as Mike Rice.
Thinking of how they were holding hands throughout the movies, Tom could not control his emotion, and tears dropped on the tickets.
Deep inside, he admitted that their 49 years of marriage was the best of everything.
