棋盤局局新   *** 世事如棋局局新 就算遇到不如意 也無須惡語傷人 否則傷痕難復合	Playing chess   *** Life is like playing chess.  Every move creates either a new winning or a new losing situation.  Therefore, even when people are not pleased with any situation, there is no need to hurt others with nasty words.  Such words may hurt so much that the wound will never be healed.
人情似紙薄   *** 人情似紙張張薄 知人口面不知心 最好只說三分話 交友不慎會吃虧	Relationship is like a piece of paper   *** Relationship can be as light as pieces of paper.  People can only judge the appearance of their friends.  They may not necessarily know if their friendship is genuine or not.  Therefore be alert to what can be shared, and what cannot, otherwise they may be taken advantage of.
