如想創一番事業
首先要修養品德
思想觀念要正確
倫理道德要遵守
學術教育要提昇
異端邪說不可信
外界威武不可屈
信心信念不可無

Train yourself to have good personal traits***

If you want to build a successful career, first train yourself to have good personal character. Your thinking and your action must be legal. Always improve your knowledge and don’t believe in anything that is illegal. Don’t give in to unreasonable external pressure. Have confidence in yourself and you will make it.

安分守己***

安分守己是最好
昇職發財當然好
凡事要量力而為
才能超越雖是好
也要靠時也運也
謹記得失是等閒
只要是已盡全力
可算對得起自己

Understand your own limitations and act accordingly***

Try to know your own limitations and act accordingly. It is a good thing if you can get a promotion and make more money. But you have to know your own limit and capability. Having talent is good too, but you have to be patient and wait for the right time and right opportunity before you can demonstrate your potential. Remind yourself that success or failure is not important. What is more important is how you struggle throughout this process. As long as you have put in your best effort, enjoy the process instead of the end result.
