捨生取義 ***

雖然不是個聖人
未做到替天行道
未能夠為民除害
但要有正義心腸
生亦是我所欲也
義也是我所欲也
當二者不可得兼
一定要捨生取義

Life vs justice  ***

Although you may not be a sage, and cannot take charge to take action in getting rid of all bad people in your society, you still can have a heart that is moved by justice. There is a Chinese saying that you like to be righteous and love your own life. When faced with choosing between life and justice, you must remember to choose justice.

退一步 ***

有時做人退一步
並不代表是屈服
更不代表是認輸
也不代表是放棄
而是種良好修養
也可算是種禮貌
代表個人的謙虛
退一步海闊天空

Take one step backwards ***

There are times when having to step backwards doesn’t mean you are giving up. Definitely it doesn’t mean you are accepting failure. It can be a smart move, and a strategy to show your politeness. Stepping backwards can have boundless possibilities and create a peaceful atmosphere for everyone.
