最大的過錯 ***

人生最大的過錯
那就是貪得無厭
正因為貪慾不止
而弄到妄生是非
甚至乎損人利己
造成了積怨積恨
失去了精神平靜
種下了無情禍根

Life’s biggest mistake ***

What is life’s biggest mistake? It is people’s insatiable greed. Because of their greed, they may not be able to distinguish right from wrong. They may even do things to harm people to get what they want. Such behavior will create hatred among people and they will lose their tranquility. They, in fact, have planted the seed of disaster for themselves. Someday they will pay for it.

縱慾成災 ***

貪求的名利愈多
付出代價也愈大
好多時得不償失
貪慾要適可而止
否則因貪求私慾
被財慾迷住心竅
不擇手段去攫取
而弄到縱慾成災

Greed will lead to misfortune ***

You have to pay a big price for your greed. Sometimes whatever you gain may not make up for what you might have lost. You need to understand when to stop being greedy, otherwise you may do something silly to get what you want. As a result, because of your greed, you end up turning your pleasurable moments into disastrous ones.
