Good and bad times in life ***
Life is full of changes. If you can accept changes, you will feel less troubled. Fame is nothing but a dream and wealth is like snow in hot weather. Life is like watching a play. No one can replace the actor in going through both good and bad times. Growing old is the same; no one can go through being sick and die for you. When you reach retirement age, you should definitely try to enjoy the golden years.
The thunderstorm and the sun ***
After the thunderstorm is over, the sun will come out. White clouds are all over the sky. A rainbow of beautiful colors may appear in the sky. Experiencing such weather will make you feel good. Tell yourself that today is a good day. Everything will work out fine for you. You should celebrate such a good day with your friends and relatives.

Life vs justice

Life vs justice ***
Although you may not be a sage, and cannot take charge to take action in getting rid of all bad people in your society, you still can have a heart that is moved by justice. There is a Chinese saying that you like to be righteous and love your own life. When faced with choosing between life and justice, you must remember to choose justice.
Take one step backwards ***
There are times when having to step backwards doesn’t mean you are giving up. Definitely it doesn’t mean you are accepting failure. It can be a smart move, and a strategy to show your politeness. Stepping backwards can have boundless possibilities and create a peaceful atmosphere for everyone.

Prestige

Prestige ***
As a good leader, if you want to maintain prestige, you must, at the minimum, be an honest person. You should not lie and use nonsensical excuses. What you say must match what reality is; otherwise people will doubt your strategy. You will end up achieving nothing.
Happy cooperation ***
As a good leader, one must know how to use people’s talent, help people’s career development, and most importantly find ways to keep good talent. If a leader wants to make everyone happy, he/she should not have a selfish motive, but should maintain high moral standards. Only if he/she does that, will people cooperate with him/her happily.

We control our fate

We control our fate ***
You can’t blame your fate for all adversity in life. Don’t forget you control your own fate. If you don’t have enough food to eat and clothes to keep you warm, most probably you are lazy. If you are lazy, how can fate make you rich? You must work hard and diligently in order to make enough to have full meals and warm clothes.
Work hard, work diligently ***
Achievements without putting efforts in it can only be, the most, considered to be being one time lucky. You can’t always rely on luck but working hard on your own effort. If you only count on luck, you are a big fool. Life has ups and downs and you must work hard at all times. Only then will you be able to lead a meaningful life full of achievements.

Appreciate who you are
Daily Advice
Author: Philip Chan
goodadvicechan@yahoo.com
http://good-advice-book.blogspot.com/
Appreciate who you are ***
We all should appreciate who we are and be proud of ourselves. It isn’t an act of being conceited. It is a way of building up one’s self-confidence and makes one smile from within. If you continue to do that, you will be able to perform your job with half the effort you normally require. Why don’t you give it a try?
Know when to stop and when to start ***
If you know when to stop and when to start, and don’t focus too much on the end result, only concentrate on putting in your best efforts to perform the job, even if your business is not doing well, you don’t need to feel bad about it but treat it as a learning lesson. Apply what you have learned and move forward.

Violation of the correct path
Daily Advice
Author: Philip Chan
goodadvicechan@yahoo.com

Violation of the correct path ***
Indulging in a dissipated way of life will harm your health. Spending your wealth on luxury items is a waste of money and you will never be rich. If you treat people without righteousness and act heartlessly, you will never have true friends. If you deviate from an appropriate path in life, you can’t be a gentleman.
Most favorable auspices ***
Adhering to an appropriate path in life brings good luck, while deviating from the natural justice in life can be a calamity. Arbitrary behavior, without any self-control, which comes from violating your conscience, can lead to disastrous situations. Law-abiding behavior will make you feel safe and comfortable, and ultimately have days that will bring you fulfillment.

All men are created equal
Daily Advice
Author: Philip Chan
goodadvicechan@yahoo.com

All men are created equal ***
All men are created equal. If you want to do better than others, you must be well prepared psychologically. First you must have confidence in yourself and determined to support yourself to go through all tough situations. If you are prepared to do so and maintain a positive attitude, your success rate will be high.
Fight for an upper position ***
If you want to fight for an upper position, you need to prepare yourself for it. First you need to know who your opponent is, and in addition, fully understand how you stand. Make sure you do everything possible to make yourself better than your opponent. Only if you can do that, will you stand a chance to win; otherwise the most you can expect is that your chance of success is the same as your opponent.
