Leave room for nurturing a good relationship***

Always remember whatever you do, always leave room for nurturing a good relationship. Maintain a peaceful atmosphere when getting together with people. Always be polite to each other. There is no merit in being a calculating person. Don’t do anything injurious to people. If you hurt people deeply and drive them into a dead end road, you will compromise the tranquility of your life.

How to be a happier person***

Unfair and unreasonable things happen everyday. Some of them can be fixed but some can never be fixed. The best way to deal with such situations is to work hard to learn how to do a job diligently and yet learn how to let go. If you can do that, you will be a happier person.

You will be happier***

Every relationship is beautiful. It always has its enchanting moment. You only need to remember this moment and keep this as a sweet memory. No need to remember the other moments; especially those unhappy moments. Let go of those unhappy moments. Don’t ever go back to mention those unpleasant moments and you will be happier.

Say a few good words***

If your words are caring, you will be able to develop a caring feeling for each other. A simple sentence like “How are you?” can help to build a good relationship. Frequent usage of “thank you” can create a comfortable atmosphere. Words of praise and appreciation will always make people happy.

Gain does not equal loss***

Sometimes when you intend to plant flowers, they never blossom. When you have no intention to plant willows, they form a shade above your head. No one knows what happens in the future. Don’t ask for more. If it belongs to you, it will come to you, but if it isn’t destined to be yours, no matter how hard you try, you won’t get it. We have no choice but to understand that what you gain may not necessarily equal to what you have lost. Therefore you don’t need to be overly excited when you gain something. Equally you don’t have to be too disappointed when you lose something.

One’s life destiny is written***

Since one’s life destiny is written, there is no way you can fight against it. No matter how much energy you may have, you can never alter your destiny. Therefore there is no need to be angry about unanticipated changes in life. The key issue is that whether you have put in your best effort or not. If you do, don’t worry but let your destiny take its course.

Meditation***

After having an argument with your opposite party, it is natural for you feel that your opponent tends to attack you and do you harm. You feel uncomfortable and miserable. The best way to deal with this is to meditate. Think carefully about what is being argued and analyze whether there is anything wrong on your side. Even there is nothing you find wrong, you will still find peace and feel better.

Let bygones be bygones***

No matter how deep your wound is, naturally you feel the pain. Let your emotions out and burst into tears if need be, but don’t let it last for too long. You have to realize that you must let bygones be bygones. It doesn’t do you any good if you continue to be sad. Time will heal the wound. Relax a little and move on with your life.

How many trusted friends do you have?

Don’t judge people by their appearance. Although you may know many people, how many of them are your trusted friends? Although you care for people, you still have to be careful when dealing with people. It is safer not to tell everything to everyone you know, otherwise you may get hurt in the future.

Why get angry?

When someone criticizes you, don’t get angry. If the other party criticizes you for a good reason, then you should engage in introspection and feel grateful. If the other party criticizes you for the wrong reason, then ignore him/her. After all this is only his/her point of view. In reality, the person whom he/she is criticizing is not you. You don’t have to get angry because of this.

Difficult to find warmth in a workplace***

In a workplace, helpful people are difficult to find. Whenever there is a party, people are warm and friendly. But, when you need assistance, how many people are willing to offer a hand? You can only depend on yourself. Remember to work hard to build your own career. Try to learn from books to improve your knowledge to help you do a better job. With continued education, you can become more open-minded and can get along well with people.

Giving lip-service***

Don’t be a self centered person. Don’t use your power to force people to accept your ideas. Forcing people to accept your opinion is not a smart move. Even when people say they agree with your opinions, they are in fact giving you lip-service. It is a matter of time before they will reject your ideas, and both of your will end up being hurt.

Daily Advice June 23, 2011

Always improve yourself***

Don’t expect people will change. People don’t change easily. What you really can do is to change yourself. Don’t care how other people look at you. Change your attitude first. Be optimistic when dealing with things. Be positive when dealing with people. Get rid of your hatred and jealousy; you will live a pleasant life.

How to turn setback around***

When faced with a setback situation, don’t blame heaven and earth. Instead analyze the situation in detail. Ask yourself what can be done to improve the situation. From this experience, learn how to use your wisdom to turn the setback around.
