What you do has nothing to do with heaven ***

People at times may be superstitious and believe that destiny is predetermined. In reality, what you will become is not predetermined. If you are willing to study hard, you will enhance your knowledge. Even Almighty God can’t change that. But if you waste your time and don’t study hard, your Almighty God can’t make you into an intelligent and competent person.

Everything comes from you ***

Don’t be superstitious and believe everything about your destiny has already written. Whatever you have achieved, has nothing to do with your destiny. If you work hard to make a living and are prudent with your finances, heaven can’t make you hungry. But if you are not careful with your money and waste it on unnecessary and frivolous items, heaven can’t make you a wealthy man. Everything comes from you.

Who is your biggest enemy? ***

Determine if you have accumulated a lot of grievances inside yourself. You hate your job and you envy your colleagues. You are discontented with everything around you and you think everyone is your enemy. You lose your temper without any reason. No wonder everyone thinks you are your own enemy.

Accept reality gracefully ***

When faced with a situation that cannot be changed, what you can do is to change your point of view. Try to be content with what you’ve got and don’t complain about what you haven’t got. In this way, you will find your days are more relaxing. As long as you are willing to accept gracefully what heaven has given you, you will feel peaceful at heart and your life will be a pleasant one.

Patience ***

King Yuet, because of his willingness to endure being humiliated by King Ng and was willing to taste the bitterness of a gall bladder to remind him of that humiliation that he ultimately defeated King Ng. People should remember if they don’t have patience, they may ruin a good opportunity. Be patient with everything you do, you then avoid getting into troubles.

Enduring humiliation ***

As soon as you mention about enduring humiliation, most Chinese people remember the historical story about King Yuet who sleeps on branches and tastes a gall bladder to remind him he has to endure humiliation. At the appropriate time, enduring humiliation is a test of moral fiber. Don’t let your temporarily anger destroy your relationship with people to the degree of no return. Anger can cause both being emotionally hurt.

A big hero **

Some people are born with a kind heart. They like to help the disabled, the elderly and young children. They believe in doing one good deed everyday. People will admire you if you can do that. Certainly they will consider you as a big hero.

Avoid doing harmful deeds and perform good deeds ***

Regardless of whether you think you were born with a kind heart or a malign disposition, both of these contradictory natures can be directed to do good. As long as you are willing to develop your good character and abide the rituals and morals that are constructive, and not be influenced by the external temptations, you can overcome your impulse to do harm, and perform good deeds.

Appearing being weak ***

Appearing being weak does not mean you are weak. Definitely it doesn't mean you can't be strong. Sometimes it doesn't make sense to barge ahead and fight without any going through a careful consideration. Appearing to be weak may help you struggle through the difficult times. Being strong on your point of view may make you fail. Appearing weak may ultimately help you win the battle.

Defeat a superior enemy ***

Everyone should know when to stop instead of continuously barging forward. In order to get control of a situation, you don’t need to make the first move to attack people. What you should do is to analyze the situation with a clear mind. Find out the weakness of your opponent and then you can attack your opponent by surprise. Doing so will help you defeat your superior enemy.

Everybody is happy ***

When you are unhappy, you will make people around you unhappy. Happiness is contagious. If so, why don’t you be happy and enjoy a happy day? This way, you will make other people happy too. They will in turn make people around them happy. As a result everybody is happy.

Tell yourself no need to be calculating ***

When you are being wrongly accused for something you didn’t do, don’t be depressed but be positive in dealing with it. Quietly tell yourself that you don’t need to be calculating with people but be a little forgiving. Proudly face the mirror and say, ”I can lift something heavy and I can lay it down.”

The truth ***

Because you don’t know the truth, you end up misreading things. You may even make mistakes. Of course, your mistakes may cause pain. Therefore you must look at all matters in detail and use your wisdom to help you analyze the situation. Make sure you really know the truth before you make any decision.
