Mid-autumn myth

There are quite a number of Mid-Autumn Festival myth stories: Such as Concubine Yang becomes the Moon Goddess, Emperor of Tang Ming travels to the moon palace and a beautiful lady called  Chang’e flying to the moon.

Chinese calendar the 15th day of the 8th month is the Mid-Autumn Festival or the Moon Festival.   It is equivalent to Valentine Day.  It is meant to be a romantic day for lovers and a family reunion to enjoy moon viewing.
