跟小人讲理没用，

如果用以牙还牙，

自己也变成小人，

最好是遠離小人。

Stay away from villains.    *****

It's useless to reason with the villain. If one treats the villain using a tooth for a tooth, one becomes a villain too. Therefore, the best way is to stay away from villains.

软硬不吃.     *****

小人是软硬不吃，

还满嘴仁义道德，

繼續往來冇好處，

最好是避之則吉。

No use being soft or hard      *****

The villain is not afraid of either soft or hard attack. 

They talk full of benevolence and morality. There is no benefit in keeping contact with them. The best is to avoid the villain.

Don’t force yourself to join a group gathering if the party does not suit you. Even you squeeze yourself in, you are just an outsider.

适可而止.     *****

要懂得适可而止，

如做不来的事情，

千祈不定要逞强，

要做自己擅长的。

Enough is enough.    *****

It is worth to know when to stop. If you can't do something, don’t force yourself to do it. Only perform deeds that you are good at.

As long as they don't compare their living  to others, they ought to be happier in their lives.

能夠做到不攀比，

不嫉妒和不羡慕，

得不到不要强求，

生活自然會舒緩。

Life will be relaxing.   *****

As long as people do not compare themselves to others, no jealousy, no envy, and no force to get what they want, life will naturally be relaxing and happy.
