故稱節日重阳節

Double Ninth Festival.   ***

The ninth day of the ninth month of the Chinese Calendar  is called the Chongyang Festival ( Double Ninth traditional festival ). It is called the Double Ninth Festival because both the day and the month are 9s.

古时民间重阳节

習俗會登高祈福

齊齊共秋游賞菊

同時會拜神祭祖

Chongyang Festival Customs.  ***

On Double Ninth Festival, Ancient Folk’s Customs are to climb high hills to pray for fortune, to appreciate the Autumn chrysanthemum and at the same time worship the gods and ancestors.
